Training design is a systematic process of planning and organizing learning activities to enhance employees’ knowledge, skills, and abilities in the workplace. It plays a vital role in improving employee performance and ensuring that organizational goals are achieved efficiently. A wellstructured training design identifies the training needs of employees and develops appropriate learning objectives, content, methods, and evaluation techniques to address those needs. The training design process typically involves several stages, including needs assessment, setting training objectives, designing training content, selecting suitable training methods, implementing the program, and evaluating its effectiveness. Various training methods such as workshops, simulations, e-learning, and on-the-job training can be used depending on the nature of the job and the learning requirements of employees. Effective training design helps organizations improve productivity, employee satisfaction, and overall performance. It also supports continuous learning and professional development, enabling employees to adapt to technological changes and evolving work environments. Therefore, training design is considered an essential component of human resource development and organizational success.
