Abstract

The rapid evolution of information technology, shifting academic needs, and the growing emphasis on digital resources have brought significant changes to the role and function of academic libraries. This survey seeks to investigate the contemporary issues faced by academic libraries, focusing on digital resource management, technological infrastructure, information literacy, space utilization, and privacy concerns. The findings aim to highlight challenges in library management and provide insights into areas where improvements or innovations are necessary to support students, faculty, and researchers effectively. By gathering the perspectives of students, faculty, and library staff, this survey provides a comprehensive understanding of current issues in academic libraries, with a view to informing future strategies in resource allocation, service provision, and technological advancement.
