Compensation management is one of the most important functions of human resource management that helps organizations attract, motivate, and retain talented employees. This study focuses on compensation management with special reference to Adani Thermal Power Plant. In industrial organizations, especially thermal power plants, compensation plays a significant role in improving employee motivation, workplace satisfaction, operational efficiency, and organizational productivity. Compensation management includes salary structure, incentives, allowances, bonuses, rewards, medical benefits, retirement benefits, employee welfare measures, and performance-based rewards provided to employees for their contribution toward organizational success. Adani Thermal Power Plant follows various compensation practices such as structured salary systems, performance incentives, overtime allowances, employee welfare programs, medical support, insurance facilities, safety allowances, and retirement benefits to improve employee morale and organizational commitment. The study examines employee opinions regarding salary satisfaction, compensation fairness, rewards and incentives, welfare facilities, and performance appraisal systems. Technological advancements and modern HR management systems have significantly improved payroll processing, compensation monitoring, and employee performance evaluation systems within organizations. The study concludes that effective compensation management contributes significantly toward employee satisfaction, workforce stability, productivity improvement, employee retention, and long-term organizational growth.
