A Study on Customer Relationship Management in Marketing Management of D-Mart

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is an important marketing strategy that focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships between organizations and customers to improve customer satisfaction, loyalty, and business performance. This study examines the Customer Relationship Management practices in the marketing management of D-Mart with the objective of analyzing how effective customer service, communication, promotional activities, and relationship-building strategies influence customer satisfaction and retention. D-Mart is one of the leading retail supermarket chains in India, known for offering quality products at affordable prices and maintaining strong customer relationships through efficient service and customer-oriented business practices. The study evaluates factors such as product availability, pricing strategy, customer service quality, store environment, promotional offers, and customer feedback management in influencing customer loyalty towards D-Mart. The research is based on both primary and secondary data collected from customers, company reports, journals, websites, and retail industry publications. The findings indicate that effective CRM practices help D-Mart improve customer satisfaction, strengthen customer loyalty, increase sales performance, and maintain competitive advantage in the retail market. The study concludes that customer-oriented marketing strategies, quality service, and efficient relationship management play a major role in achieving long-term business success in the retail sector.
