Abstract

The present study titled “Liquidity and Profitability Analysis of HCL Technologies” aims to examine the relationship between liquidity management and profitability performance of the company. Liquidity and profitability are two important financial indicators that determine the operational efficiency and financial stability of an organization. Proper management of current assets and liabilities helps a company maintain sufficient liquidity while also maximizing profits. The study is based on secondary data collected from the annual reports, financial statements, company publications, and other reliable financial sources related to HCL Technologies for a selected period of years. Various accounting and financial tools such as Current Ratio, Quick Ratio, Net Profit Ratio, Return on Assets, Return on Equity, and Working Capital Analysis are used to evaluate the companys financial performance. Comparative and trend analysis methods are also applied to understand the changes in liquidity and profitability over the study period. The analysis reveals that HCL Technologies has maintained a balanced position between liquidity and profitability through effective utilization of resources and efficient financial management practices. The company shows stable growth in profits along with adequate liquidity levels, indicating sound operational performance and financial strength. The study concludes that efficient liquidity management positively influences the profitability and overall sustainability of the company. This project helps in understanding the importance of financial analysis in decision-making and provides useful insights into the financial health and performance of HCL Technologies.
