HYBRID WORK AT THE TIPPING POINT: ENGAGEMENT, BURNOUT, AND PERFORMANCE IN 2024 ORGANIZATIONS
Abstract
The hybrid work model reached a critical tipping point in 2024 as organizations sought to balance flexibility, employee well-being, and performance outcomes in a post-pandemic environment. While hybrid work arrangements initially improved autonomy and work–life balance, prolonged implementation introduced new challenges related to employee engagement, burnout, and productivity management. This study examines how hybrid work structures influenced employee engagement levels, burnout experiences, and organizational performance during 2024. The research analyzes managerial practices, digital collaboration, and organizational support mechanisms shaping hybrid work outcomes. By evaluating the interplay between flexibility and control, the study contributes to understanding sustainable hybrid work strategies in contemporary organizations.
