The year 2022 marked a critical phase for Indian firms as global supply chains continued to experience instability following the COVID-19 pandemic, geopolitical tensions, and logistics disruptions. Indian organizations across manufacturing, retail, pharmaceuticals, and technology sectors were compelled to transition from reactive disruption management to proactive supply chain defense strategies. This study examines how Indian firms strengthened supply chain resilience in 2022 by adopting risk mitigation practices, digital technologies, supplier diversification, and strategic inventory management. The paper analyzes the role of organizational learning, policy support, and technological integration in enabling firms to withstand uncertainties while maintaining operational continuity. By focusing on trust, agility, and structural preparedness within supply networks, the study contributes to the understanding of resilience-driven supply chain transformation in emerging economies.
