This research paper evaluates the effectiveness of social policies in addressing economic and social inequality in contemporary societies. Inequality remains a persistent challenge despite sustained policy interventions aimed at redistribution, social protection, and inclusion. The study examines how social policies influence income distribution, access to basic services, and social mobility. A socio-policy evaluation framework is adopted to assess outcomes and limitations of existing interventions. The paper highlights challenges related to policy design, targeting, and implementation capacity. Findings indicate that well-designed and inclusive social policies significantly reduce inequality and enhance social cohesion. However, fragmented approaches limit long-term impact. The study contributes to social policy evaluation and inequality reduction debates
